While most people were sleeping in on Saturday, nearly 70 fit and formidable runners showed up at Kokernot Field for the 10th annual Alpine Cowboys Home Run 5K and 10K to kick off the 2025 Pecos League baseball season. On Final Approach

Body
This is a very familiar term to airplane pilots. In any flight there is the takeoff, the trip or journey and with the airport in sight the final approach and finally the landing. Many pilots give a sigh of relief after a long trip and say or think, “On the ground at last”.
