Local resident Pam Rubio woke up to hundreds of wildflower blooms in her front yard after the frequent rainfall this month. As a succulent aficionado, Rubio shared that this was a bloom she’s never seen before in the 19-years she lived in her house. Rubio believes the eye-popping flora to be a type of shaggy portulaca pilosa, commonly known as “chisme”. “I’ve looked and have yet to see those flowers bloom like they did that day,” she shared thinking back on October’s impressive display.
