Lopez’s 4 TDs guides Fort Stockton freshman to win

Body

In the fourth quarter of Thursday’s game the freshman Panthers were deadlocked at 22-22 with Pecos after multiple lead changes.

The Panther defense needed a critical stop and a quick score with little time remaining to come away with a win in regulation.

Fort Stockton’s defense did just that and Cedric Lopez made the most of the opportunity on the other side of the ball with a 74-yard run to endzone to secure a 30-22 victory for the Panthers.

Greek Beef and Feta Patties with Lemon-Basil Caper Sauce

Body

If you are trying to cut carbs out of your diet yet still attempt to find delicious meals that are satisfying, these Greek beef and feta patties are an excellent choice. The emphasis in this dish is on the beef patties, and while that may be the focus as far as protein is concerned, it is not the star. This dish is a team. Without all the side components and the delicious sauce blend, it would remain sadly one noted.
