Aguilar’s career night leads Panthers route of Bucks

Over the course of Fort Stockton’s first two games, quarterback Dominic Aguilar and running back Corbin Luna have shown that they will be a formidable duo on the ground this season.

Aguilar scored a careerhigh four rushing touchdowns on Aug. 27 at El Paso Bowie and on Sept. 3, Aguilar reset his careerhigh in front of the Panther faithful in Fort Stockton’s home-opener against neighbor rival Alpine.

  • Samuel Jesus Padilla, DOB 11/16/1986 (CR-24456, assault causes bodily injury family violence) defendant has entered into a 12-month pretrial intervention program with a $500 fee and anger management.
  • Christian Jesus Portilla, DOB 06/10/1981 (CR-24309, driving while license invalid) defendant has entered into a six-month pretrial intervention program with a $500 fee.

Two Pecos County residents pass away due to COVID complications

A report on Wednesday evening by Pecos County Emergency Management Coordinator Jessie Dominguez showed that two Pecos County residents passed away from COVID-19 complications in the past four days.

The individuals, who were both unvaccinated, was a 46-year-old female that passed away on Sept. 1 and a 91-year-old female that passed away on Aug. 29.

The two deaths are in addition to a 31-year-old Pecos County resident who passed away on Aug. 19. The individual was also unvaccinated.

Longtime Resident of Fort Stockton, Texas, Madeline McDaniel Waldrep was called home to be with her Lord on August 31, 2021.  She died at her home in Fort Stockton, Texas surrounded by her loving family.  Madeline was born on September 8, 1932, in Hughes County, Oklahoma.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Donald Vaughn and Lois Conditt Cash, her first husband Travis W. McDaniel, second husband Freddy Joe Waldrep and her brother, William Bailey Cash.

Domingo Arenas

Body

Domingo Arenas left us to be with Jehova God and His Son Jesus Christ on Aug. 28, 2021. Domingo was born on June 19, 1938, in Terlingua, Texas, to Mr. Jesus Arenas and Ms. Ruperta Cedillos.

Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Ruperta, as well as brother Juan G. Baeza.

Body

Iraan-Shirley Nadine “NayNay” McMahon joined her beloved Nonnie on Aug. 28,2021. She was 54 years old.

A graveside service was held at the Sheeld Cemetery in Sheeld, Texas, on Sept. 3.
