Domingo Arenas left us to be with Jehova God and His Son Jesus Christ on Aug. 28, 2021. Domingo was born on June 19, 1938, in Terlingua, Texas, to Mr. Jesus Arenas and Ms. Ruperta Cedillos.

Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Ruperta, as well as brother Juan G. Baeza. 

Domingo is survived by his son Christopher Fabela of Fort Stockton, Texas; daughters Silvia Sands, Ruby Tapia, and Mia Arenas Trevi, all of Fort Stockton, and DeeDee Arenas of Arizona; and sister Ramona Cedillos and husband Ralph of Fort Stockton. 

Domingo leaves behind 20 grandchildren, Carlos C. Trevino, Alaina T. Trevino, Nichole Esqueda, Johnny Talavera, Fernando Esqueda, Pearl Celaya, Julian Celaya, Ray Lee Celaya, Raquel Austin, Crystal Torres, Eric Arenas, Precious Tapia, Emerald Tapia; and 35 great grandchildren. 

Domingo also leaves behind Frank Cedillos, Baby Easton, Kaeden Bazan, Mary Alvarado, Armando Campos, Immi Pendeloza, Ronda Pendeloza, Ricard Garcia, Leslie Campos, Janie Campos, Julie Primera, Michael Milliner, Cameron Pendeloza, Alice Cedillos, Frances Campos, Margarita B. Luna, Juan L. Baeza, Noe Baeza, Norma Rojo, Debbie Baeza, Santiago Baeza, Martha B. Torres, Vanessa Tejada, Jose Tejada, Briana Ruiz, Rachel Campos, Isaiah Garcia, Arabella Cantu, Daena Hernandez, Maria Angela Chasco, April Cantu, Rosie Campos, Ramiro Hernandez, Journey Primera, Diego Hernandez, Ruth Sanchez, Chuck Chasco, David Menchaca, Isaac Nieves, and Alicia Burgess.

Visitation and prayer service were held Sept. 2, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home of The Big Bend, Fort Stockton. Graveside Burial took place Sept. 3, 2021, at East Hill Cemetery, with food service following burial at Small Community Hall.

Domingo loves Jehovah God and His Son Jesus Christ.  Domingo worked as a crew shift leader and retired from the Texas Highway Department. He loved being involved in charity work at the food bank. His priorities in life were living a happy family life with everyone, according to God’s way. Domingo loved everyone! He also visited frequently the residence at the Fort Stockton Nursing Home so they would know they are remembered.
