The Fort Stockton Recreation All Stars Baseball and Softball teams made their mark at the Little League All Stars Sectionals Tournament with impressive performances across the board. With three teams competing in their respective divisions, Fort Stockton showcased their talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Local Talent Shines

Fort Stockton’s own Carla Vazquez has made her mark in the world of junior livestock, securing a notable 10th place overall in the Intermediate Hog Division for the state of Texas. Carla’s achievement was recognized by the Beyond the Ring Junior Livestock Association (BTRJLA), a prestigious organization committed to providing opportunities for junior livestock exhibitors to excel and be celebrated at various levels.

Cantaloupe Classic comes to Fort Stockton

The Alpine Cowboys, a powerhouse of the Pecos League Mountain South Division Professional Baseball, solidified their position as a dominant force with a commanding 16-4 victory over the Pecos Bills in the “Cantaloupe Classic” game held at Panther Stadium on June 26. The Cowboys showcased their exceptional talent, overwhelming the Bills with a relentless offensive onslaught and unwavering pitching prowess.

Highschool Summer Camps open to incoming and current athletes Fort Stockton High School announced upcoming summer camps for 2024. Swimming sessions are $90 a session, while all other camps are $40 per camp.
