The Grey Mule Saloon has been a law office, bookstore, café and private home prior to opening as a tasting room for Ste Genevieve Winery in November 2012. Built in the 1880s, the saloon initially catered to Army troops stationed at the fort and cowboys and Texas Rangers passing through.
The 49th Annual Arts & Crafts Show, sponsored by the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, saw a great turn-out on Saturday and had something for everyone. Admission was free and the Chamber had both free and paid door prizes.

The Goodnight-Loving Trail, Inc. and the Pecos County Historical Commission hosted the Spirit of the River Horsehead Crossing Living History Event. Out by the Pecos River off Highway 11 is a Historical Monument that stands alone by the river erected in 1936 by the State of Texas marker number 2564.
