Dear Neil: How long do I have to wait to know if my lavender lantanas are going to come back after the winter? Trailing lavender lantanas are perhaps the least winter-hardy types that we grow. It doesn't take a very harsh Texas winter to kill out their crowns.

Fort Stockton remembers Preston

Friends and family gathered at Officers’ Quarters #8 at the Old Fort on Saturday, March 9, 2024 to celebrate and memorialize the life of Robert Paul Preston. Robert passed away on Feb. 19, 2024 after a brief stay in the hospital. The memorial was marked with a gun and cannon salute from historical reenactors after the flag was flown at halfstaff.
