National Correctional Officer Week May 7-13 The title of Correctional Officer is one that is often overlooked or simply forgotten when Law Enforcement Agencies are mentioned among the public. Former President Ronald Reagan recognized this and saw a need to thank those individuals who’ve chosen the profession of Corrections throughout the nation.

Joe Biden lies.

He stumbles. He has the beginnings of dementia.

Everything Fox News says about his incompetence and his horrible domestic and foreign policies is absolutely true.

Everyone knows America will be more prosperous and safe when he is no longer in the White House.

But Joe Biden isn’t leaving. He’s decided he can run for re-election in 2024 for one simple reason – the Republican Party nomination is in the pocket of Donald Trump.

I stood in line to enter the exhibit from Italy. I stepped onto a slow-moving conveyor belt and was taken to see the magnificent Pieta carved by Michelangelo and a lighted representation of the Sistine Chapel ceiling. When I saw this title I wanted to read it and learn more about this famous tourist site and was caught with the word secrets.

A deadly sin To the Editor, I’ve recently noticed a few State Flags being displayed with “Proud Democrat” printed on them. I couldn’t help but wonder what was it that makes these folks so proud.

When I was younger, I wanted to write a book about my life. I did not want to name anyone, so I thought about changing the names of my characters. But after a long consideration, I thought if people knew me then it would not take long to figure out who I was referring to.

To all my Fort Stockton friends and colleagues, as my next chapter in my career begins next week, I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to all of you and the community of Fort Stockton for embracing me the last two years and eight months.
