Jamie David Morales, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, after a long and courageous journey. Though he passed quietly, he was deeply loved and will be remembered with warmth and honor by all who knew him.

Born June 28, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, Jamie Sue Lancaster Dunn was the daughter of WWII Navy veteran Dr. James Dayle Lancaster and PHS-registered nurse Nella Susan Moran Lancaster. She grew up in Fort Stockton, where she graduated with pride as part of the Fort Stockton High School Class of 1969.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Jimmy Wayne Newby (70) on June 16, at the hospital in Dallas, Texas after weeks of attempting recovery from a major heart attack.

With love in our hearts and memories full of laughter, we celebrate the life of Karen O’Banion Jackson, who passed away on June 14, at the age of 67. Karen was born on June 11th, 1958 in Chincoteague, Virginia to Billy Bryan and Hope O’Banion.

Hilda Herrera, 52, of Fort Stockton, passed away on June 10 in Odessa. Visitation was held at 12 p.m.

Gary D. Gordon, 78, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Saturday, May 31, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray Morado Franco, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who departed this life naturally on June 8, at the age of 55. Ray was born on January 6, 1970, in Rankin, Texas, and spent much of his life in Fort Stockton.

Truett Miller Eaton, 91, lifelong resident of Fort Stockton, passed away in San Antonio on May 27. Truett was a fun-loving and deeply cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

Karina Nicole Ureste of Fort Stockton passed away Monday, May 12, at the age of 18. She was born on October 3, 2006, in Fort Stockton, to Uriel & Duvelza Ureste.

Maria Luisa Garcia Pintor, 83, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Sunday, May 25, in Odessa, Texas. Funeral Services were held Friday, May 30 at Alpha y Omega Apostolic Church.
