Leading the way was Carla Vazquez, who earned a coveted spot among the top 12 in Senior Showmanship—an outstanding achievement considering the field included more than 150 participants.

Sheffield Man Arrested in Connection with Murder

An arrest has been made in the murder investigation of 66-year-old Truman Harrison. The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office announced on September 26, that Arlie Sparkman, a white male from Sheffield, Texas, was arrested for the murder of Harrison, who was also from Sheffield.
