Cases reach zero in county

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Pecos County reached it’s lowest point since the start of the pandemic a year ago this past week. It was reported on March 30 that there were no active cases in the county and only four pending tests.

Budget changes needed for community center

The Pecos County Commissioners decided at their regular meeting on March 22 that’ll they’ll need to make a budget adjustment in order to accept a bid for the new Coyanosa Community Center.
COVID-19 active cases stay low

Two weeks after Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order went into effect, COVID-19 active cases continue to stay low in Pecos County.
Pecos County had six active cases on March 10 – the day the order started – and number has went no higher than eight since that time.
