Cruise Party a Huge Success

The Fort Stockton Rotary’s Cruise Party turned out to be larger than the previous year and was deemed “a huge success” by those who attended. Darla Cude took home the grand prize, a $3,500 cruise of her choice, while the crowd enjoyed a steak tenderloin dinner, then dancing to the music of DJ Duli Jase.

The Pecos County Elections Office is reminding all residents that the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming November 2024 General Election is fast approaching. The last day to register is Monday, October 7, 2024.

Flu vaccine available next month

Beginning October 1, the Pecos County Memorial Hospital District will roll out this year’s flu vaccine, and according to several factors, the timing holds important intention. Andy Ghimire, a PCMH physician assistant certified doctor said, “Flu shots are crucial for everyone aged six months and older, especially those at higher risk of serious flu complications.
