Overtime Heartbreaker

The Fort Stockton High School Panther Basketball team’s season came to a heartbreaking end on February 18 as they fell to the Pampa Harvesters in overtime, 73-69, in a thrilling playoff battle in Wolfforth, Texas. Despite the tough loss, the Panthers showed grit and determination, backed by an overwhelming crowd of Fort Stockton supporters who made the over three-hour trip to cheer on their team.

Under the leadership of Coach Jason Payne, the Panthers have shown dominance on both sides of the ball, displaying solid defense, strong pitching, and explosive offense.

Concho Invitational

The Fort Stockton Panther Tennis Team hit the courts on Thursday, February 13, competing in the Concho Invitational in San Angelo. Facing off against a challenging field that included teams from 3A to 6A programs such as Abilene Wylie, San Angelo Central, Wall, and Ingram Moore, the Panthers showcased their determination and resilience throughout the tournament.

The Panthers and Prowlers competed in Andrews on January 25 and in Greenwood on February 15, demonstrating impressive progress and resilience.
