It had been nearly a month since the Buena Vista girls basketball team had played when they took to the court on Tuesday, Dec. 5 in their district-opener at Grandfalls-Royalty.

The JV Prowlers basketball team traveled to Big Spring Saturday to take on the Lady Steers once again. The Prowlers got off to a slow start offensively, but their defense kept the Lady Steers from getting an insurmountable lead.

Fort Stockton junior Alyana Dominguez had her highest offensive output of the season on Saturday, Dec. 12 in an away contest at Del Rio, scoring over half of her team’s points (22) in the Prowlers 42-33 victory.

The Fort Stockton boys basketball team has found a substantial amount of success this season through six games, just not on their home floor. The Panthers home record fell to 0-3 and 2-4 overall on Saturday, Dec.

Fort Stockton junior Anthony Gomez won the 12-team Seminole Diving Meet on Thursday, Dec. 10 to stay unbeaten this year.
