Prowlers JV 10 Monahans 8
A well-rounded performance by the Prowlers offense, defense, and pitching earned them a 10-8 victory at Monahans on April 1.
Sabrina got the start on the mound and pitched three innings before Alondra finished out the game.
“Sabrina did a great job moving the ball around and striking out batters,” Villarreal said. “Alondra kept the ball in the zone and our defense did good making plays.”
Morales and Alondra each had a double.
Sabrina, Analiza, Arissa each tallied hits in the contest.
“The team did their job moving base runners around and sacrificing to move the runners to get into scoring position. We did a good job all around,” Villarreal added.
Seminole 8 Prowlers JV 4
The Prowlers junior varsity fell to the Maidens in away contest on Tuesday by the score of 8-4.
Neveah Morales and Melina led Fort Stockton at the plate with a double each.
Alondra, Melissa, and Janean each had a single apiece.
Admari pitched a complete game with a couple of strikeouts.
The Prowlers will play on Friday, April 8 at home against the Rangerettes.
“We battled through the whole game,” Fort Stockton coach Mary Villarreal said.
