The Buena Vista volleyball team defeated Wildorado in a five-set affair (25-12, 24-26, 25-15, 23-25, 16- 14) on Nov. 3 to earn an area title in the Class 1A playoffs. The Lady Longhorns downed the Mustangs after receiving a bye in the first round of the postseason due to their district title that was earned via a 5-1 record in district play.
