The Panthers and Prowlers golf teams traveled to Pecos for the 2023 Pecos Invitational Feb. 10-11 and competed well for the first tournament of the year according to Fort Stockton head coach Lea Daggett.

The Prowlers placed second while the Panthers ended up in fourth place.

Savannah Carrillo placed fourth to pace the Prowlers with round scores of 119 and 109.

Ariana Ureste took fifth with scores of 130 and 102, Adriana Aguilar 116 and 119, Madalyn Gomez 153 and 137.

Ejay Ortiz finished third overall with scores of 92 and 98. Caleb Gonzales 111 and 103, Aaden Ibarra 137 and 131, Samuel Warren 138 and 146 for a fourth place finish. Also, Gerry Diaz carded a 97 and Ryland Nunez shot a 109 on Friday but were unable to compete on Saturday due to baseball.

Up next for the golf team is the Fort Stockton Invitational Feb. 17-18.
