Joshua Franco, great nephew of Rudy and Sophia Franco, boxed last month in Odessa.

His opponent out of El Paso requested a rematch from a previous split decision loss. This time the result was never in doubt.

Josh stopped him with a second-round knockout.

In 2020, Josh was ranked No. 1 in the 125-pound weight class. Other accomplishments include: 2019 youth national champ, 2019 USA boxing western qualifier champ, 2018 junior Olympic champ.

Josh is scheduled to box on Feb. 20 in Odessa.
