As a kid growing up in post-World War II Los Angeles, the Rose Bowl was the year’s single most anticipated event. In sports, the Dodgers were still in Brooklyn, the Lakers in Minneapolis, and the Rams had only recently relocated from Cleveland.

The number one New Year’s resolution is to lose weight and start off on road of being healthy. I have one tip that will help you keep your resolutions to lose weight and be healthy – balance your diet with SOUP.

At Christmas, let children be children

We are approaching the anniversary of the most horrific gun massacre in the history of the United States. This time of year, I’m overwhelmed with the memory of those little boys and girls who will never become teenagers, young adults, mothers and fathers, and grandparents who themselves cherish the little boys and girls surrounding them.
