Santana F. Sarabia, 87, entered rest on Sept. 19, 2021. He was born on July 26, 1934, in Sanderson, Texas, to Manuela Fuentes DelaCruz and Epifanio Sarabia.

Santana was highly active in his Catholic faith while his health permitted him to participate. He served as Eucharistic minister and choir member, and hosted a Bible study and prayer group for young adults at his home. He was also a proud member of the Holy Name Society.

Survivors include daughter Silbia Molina of Lovington, N.M.; sons Santana Sarabia, Jr. (Mary) of Odessa, Texas, Samuel Sarabia of Houston, Texas, Auden Sarabia (Bobby) of Houston, and Gabriel Sarabia of Fort Stockton, Texas; and brother Arturo (Chavel) Sarabia of Fort Stockton. Survivors also include his granddaughter Mariana Elena Molina Rocha of Houston, Benito Rafael Molina of Odessa, Santana III (Trey) of Carrollton, Texas, Jakob Auden Sarabia-Westfall and Salvador Francisco Sarabia-Westfall of Houston. He was also extremely proud of his two great grandchildren, Bianca Molina and Sage Sarabia.

Santana was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 65 years, Carmen Dominguez Sarabia. Also preceding him in death were his parents; his sisters Antonia, Alicia (Licha), Anita (Nena), and Angelita; and brothers Alejandro, Ascension (Chon), Abelardo (Lalo), and Pedro (Pira). 

Visitation was held at Heritage Funeral Home on Sept. 21, 2021, with the Rosary also recited. Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Joseph Campus, on Sept. 22, 2021. Burial followed at the Catholic Cemetery.
