Body The Pecos County Commissioners Court on Nov. 28 approved a mutual aid agreement between the Pecos County Sheriff’s Department and the Terrell County Sheriff’s Department.

Body The Pecos County Commissioner’s Court on Nov. 28 declared an emergency and fronted Pecos County Memorial Hospital an additional $550,000 in operating funds. Hospital CEO Betsy Briscoe said the hospital will need the funds to cover payroll on Dec. 7.

Body West Texas native and undefeated boxer Abel Mendoza (35-0) will fight next on Dec. 10 in Seoul, South Korea on a Triller Fight Club-produced fight card that is headlined by former eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao. Mendoza relayed the news to the Pioneer on Nov. 18.
