Richard Lynn Sanders, Sr., 73, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on Jan. 30, 2022, in his home.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Sanders; daughters Denis and Laura Sanders; mother Vivian Sanders; father Charles Sanders; and brother Darrell Sanders.

Richard is survived by his sons Sheldon Sanders, and Richard Sanders, Jr., and wife Deana; two grandchildren, Justin Stapp and Wesley Ivie; brother-in-law Vernon Bouerman and wife Saundra; sister in-law Lucy Posey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, from 9-11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, followed by a short service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Richard Sanders, Jr., Sheldon Sanders, Justin Stapp, and Deana Sanders.

Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.
