Rene Pacheco, 74, of Midland, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November16,1953,toMartin and Celia Pacheco.

Rene shared 51 years of marriage with his wife, Elia Pacheco, and together they built a life centered on their family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Celia Pacheco, and his brothers Roberto, Lorenzo, Rodrigo, Marcial, and Vicente Pacheco. Rene is survived by his wife, Elia; his brothers Nabor, Manuel, and Juan Pacheco; and his sister Petra Pacheco. He also leaves behind his children: Lorena and husband Eligio Ochoa of Midland; Rene and wife Geisel Pacheco of Midland; Diana and husband Alex Franco of San Antonio; and Alex Pacheco of Dallas.

Rene’s greatest joy was his grandchildren, who knew him for his warmth, humor, and unconditional love: Tristan Pacheco, Justin Ochoa, Adrian Pacheco, AJ Franco, Jayden Pacheco, and his beloved “Princess,” Camila Franco.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel in Midland, Texas, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Burial will follow at Serenity Shrine Memorial Gardens.

Rene will be deeply missed, and his legacy will live on through all who knew and loved him.
