Orlando Gonzales, 70, of Fort Stockton, Texas, Passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in Odessa, Texas.

Orlando was born on September 3, 1955, to Rosa Gonzales. He attended all the Fort Stockton ISD schools and graduated in 1974. Orlando continued his education at Odessa College, where he earned a degree in radiology, RT(R) and RSO. He worked at Pecos County Memorial Hospital for a total of 45 years, the majority of those years as the Director of Radiology and then retired in 2019.

Orlando loved sports, he was a dedicated fan of Fort Stocktons own Panther/ Prowlers. He attended every game possible whether in or out of town. He was also a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Orlando was well known around the community; he enjoyed KBobs for meals and a few cocktails, where he was always greeted with love.

Orlando is Preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Gonzales, Brothers; Alonzo Gonzales, Luis Hernandez, Henry Gonzales, Rodolfo Gonzales, and Eddie Gonzales, Sisters; Arcilia Marquez, and Anita Gonzales. Nephews Pete Gonzales and Edwin Martinez, Grandparents Pedro and Refugia Gonzales.

He is survived by his sisters Ninfa Gonzales, Diana Serrano, Enriqueta Martinez, and Maria Gonzales. Thirty-four nieces and nephews, and several cousins. His Godsons are Donnie De La Cruz III, Omar Fierro, Orlando Gonzales, Carlo Martinez, Antonio Hernández and Michael Pacheco, Elijah De La Cruz and Mason Martinez.

Pallbearers Will be Donnie De La Cruz III, Eddie Lujan, Gabino Bernal, Felix Martinez, Alonzo R. Gonzales, and Henry Gonzales. Orlando Will be greatly missed by family and friends; he will forever be in our hearts, and like he always said, “Go Panthers”! Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday, February 2, 2026, with rosary recited at 7:00 PM, at Eternity Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish – St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Father Francis Officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
