Minerva Suarez
Minerva Suarez, 99 years old of Fort Stockton went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2025, in her home in Fort Stockton.
Visitation will be at Eternity Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 17 from noon to 8:00 pm with the praying of the Rosary at 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, December 18, 2025, at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Frances of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish officiating.
Minerva was born in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico, to Gregorio and Manuela De La Rosa on March 10, 1926. She attended grade school in Muzquiz until the age of 16 and came to the United States in 1962 with her family to Allison Ranch where she was a homemaker. Minerva was known by many in Fort Stockton as Mimi. Mimi was best known for her talents as a seamstress as well as her ever giving spirit of kindness and humility. She was a caring mother, grandmother and friend with a strong faith that she practiced daily praying for those she cared about. She welcomed all to her house and no one left hungry. She was a member of the Catholic Guadalupanas Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Adolfo Suarez, a granddaughter Laura Marie Suarez, numerous brothers and a sister Pura Verta Cardenas of Piedras Negras Mexico.
She is survived by a son Ricardo Suarez and wife Karen, a son Hector Suarez, a daughter Elsa Ramos and husband Ramiro all of Fort Stockton; grandchildren Remie Ramos, Rachelle Young and husband Tyler, Ricky Suarez and wife Audrey, Ramsey Ramos and wife Briana, great grandchildren, Ella, Emory, and Evelyn Young, Willow, Jude, and Rowan Suarez, and Ramsey, Rylee and Remington Ramos.
Pallbearers will be: Remie Ramos, Ramsey Ramos, Tyler Young, Ricky Suarez, Omero De La Rosa and Sergio Cardenas.
