Margarita Salmon, a life long resident of Fort Stockton, Texas, entered into rest on June 5, 2021. She was born Feb. 28, 1945, to Nolberto Villegas, Sr., and Eulalia V Barron.

Margarita was preceded in death by her parents Nolberto and Eulalia, grandparents Elvira Lujan Vasquez and Geronimo Vasquez, husband Manuel F. Salmon, sisters Mary Terry and Esmerelda Vasquez, and brother Adan Vasquez.

Margarita is survived by her children Hector Salmon and Cissy of Fort Stockton, Oscar Salmon and Melba of Fort Stockton, Armando Salmon and Blanca of Fort Stockton, Joe Salmon and Nelly of Odessa, Texas, and Nora Nelon and Kenny of Telephone, Texas; and siblings Nolberto Villegas, Chris Ortega, Arturo Villegas, Narcedlia Hernandez, Rosie Suarez, Silvia Jefferson, Israel Vasquez, and Ismael.

Visitation was held on June 9, 2021, and rosary followed. Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Downtown Parish in Fort Stockton at 11 a.m. on June 10, 2021.

Pallbearers for the service will be Nolberto Villegas, Hector Salmon, Jr., Oscar M. Salmon, Omar Salmon, M.J. Salmon, and Marcos Salmon.
