Lucia Isabel Lujan, Newborn, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2025, at Dell Children’s Ascension Hospital in Austin, Texas.

Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church St. Joseph.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church St. Josephs with Deacon Danny Holguin, officiating. Burial will be held at a later time. Arrangements are by Eternity funeral home.

Lucia Isabel Lujan was born on January 15 to Robert and Tammy Lujan in Austin Texas, Surrounded by an abundance of Love.

“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these,” Matthew 19:14.

At the time of Birth she was Baptized in Christ leaving Lucia with the pure sweet smell of Chrism oil. Lucia was first held by her father, her big brother Tomas, excited to meet his sister, held her tightly and rocked her back and forth. Lucia passed peacefully in her mother’s arms. Although her life on this earth was short Lucia’s life had a purpose. Lucia was chosen to be a donor recipient and is giving another child a chance to live.

Lucia’s Heart Valves were donated, the sound of Lucia’s heart will live on not only in another child but in our hearts forever.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 Lucia is preceded in death by her Grandfather Eduardo Lujan of Van Horn and Great Grandmother Pasquala Livingston of Sanderson.

Lucia is survived by her parents Robert and Tammy Lujan, her brothers Tomas and Jon Lujan and sister Josyln Lujan, Grandparents Tommy and Terry Cash of Fort Stockton and Lydia Lujan of Van Horn.

The pallbearers will be Jon Lujan and Rocky Cash. The family of Lucia would like to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to Dell Children’s Ascension Hospital, Dell Children’s Special Delivery unit, Palliative care team, Dr. Michael Bebbington, Dr. Simon Michael, Dr. Nicks, Father Frank Dell Children’s Chaplain.
