Kevin Andrew Marler, loving son, brother, fiancé, and dog dad, passed away on June 5, 2021, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Visitation will be held for Kevin from 1-8 p.m. at People Church, 108 West 10th Street in Fort Stockton on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021, at People Church in Fort Stockton. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Adam and Lucy Marler; brothers Trae and Evan Marler; fiancé Enissa Sanchez; paternal grandparents Phillip Marler and Sheila Hebert; maternal grandmother Oralia Gonzales; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kevin was a light in the lives of all who loved him. He was smart, adventurous, and funny. He was also very talented, no matter what the challenge. It came naturally to him. Kevin could easily make anyone smile with his sense of humor and the big, bright grin he always wore. He was a treasured son, brother, fiancé, cousin, nephew, grandson, and an amazing friend and classmate.

Not only was Kevin a loving fiancé, he was also the best dog dad. He never failed to spoil his dog Sofia. Kevin was always looking for adventure, whether family vacations, golf, disc golf, drones, baseball, or riding his motorcycle that he loved. The most important people in his life were his fiancée, his family, and his close friends.

Kevin’s favorite pastime was encouraging his fiancée in her schoolwork so he could be a stay-at-home dad, gaming, spending time with his dad and friends at Rooney Park, working on his car, and playing golf. In fact, he had just won a golf tournament with one of his best friends, Alex. Kevin will be deeply missed. His passing is a great loss, but he left everyone with bright memories to keep close to their hearts forever.

We, the Marler family, would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has been by our side during this difficult time in our lives.

Services were entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory of Odessa, Texas.
