Juan Reyna Sanchez entered into rest on Feb. 17, 2021. He was born on July 8, 1932, to Rumaldo and Maria Sanchez.

Juan served in the U.S. Army and was Specialist Fourth Class. He was stationed at Fort Dill, Okla., before settling down in Fort Stockton, Texas, with his wife of 51 years, Rita Franco. While Juan never had children of his own, he was a father figure to many. Juan was also an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Fort Stockton. He spent his free time tending to his garden that he shared with his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his big heart and fun spirit.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents Rumaldo and Maria Sanchez and first wife Rita Franco.

Juan is survived by his wife Sandra Yvette, and brother Joe Sanchez of Seguin, Texas.

The visitation was held on Feb. 24, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral mass will take place on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Downtown Campus. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
