Josephina Lopez-Perez, 82, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on May 15, 2022. She was born on July 21, 1939, in Fort Stockton to Jose Lopez and Consuelo Ramirez Lopez.

Josephina was a devoted Catholic, and an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved to cook, and was happiest when surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Amelia Flores and Esequela L. Martinez; brothers Roy Lopez, Ramiro Lopez, Beto Lopez, and Victor Lopez; daughter Mary Jo Dominguez; son Sammy Dominguez; granddaughter Misty Dominguez; and grandsons Carlos S. Sarabia and Joey Dominguez.

Josephina is survived by her brothers Fernando Lopez and wife Yolanda, Ector Lopez and wife Alvina, Bravlio Lopez and wife Alice, and Felipe Lopez and wife Armida; sister Dell Rodriguez and husband Joaquin, Jr.; daughters Aurelia Dominguez of San Angelo, Texas, and Valerie Lopez of Fort Stockton; sons Saturnino, Jr. “June-Bug,” Dominguez and wife Maria of San Antonio, Texas, Jessie Lopez of Lamesa, Texas, Gabriel Lopez Dominguez and wife Janie of San Antonio, and George Lopez Dominguez and wife Nellie of Fort Stockton; 29 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Pall bearers were Isaac Dominguez, Alexander Dominguez, Juan Sarabia, Mark Dominguez, Michael Dominguez, and Sam Dominguez. Honorary pall bearers were Jesus Dominguez, Joe Angel Dominguez, Anthony Sarabia, and Aaron Dominguez.

The family wishes to thank Focused Care and Pecos County Memorial Hospital for their excellent care of Josephina.

Arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend in Fort Stockton.
