Jesus “Salvador” Leon Morales, 64, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022, in Midland, Texas. He was born June 28, 1957, in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Amador Morales and Heriberta Leon Perez. 

Salvador was a beloved father and grandfather who loved barbecuing, fishing, raising roosters, and going to the horse races. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends. 

Salvador was preceded in death by his father Amador Morales.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jasmine Morales and Jessica Morales; granddaughters Abrianna Figueroa and Evelynn Barboza; grandsons Jesus Barboza, Jr., Joshua Barboza, and Jesse Barboza; stepson Eusebio Tarin, Jr.; stepdaughters Rosie Tarin and Sandra Tarin; six step granddaughters; seven step grandsons; mother Heriberta Leon Perez; five sisters; and eight brothers.

Visitation was April 19, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, Fort Stockton, Texas. Rosary was recited April 19, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend Chapel. A funeral mass was held on April 20, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fort Stockton, with internment following at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
