JD Stocks, 78, passed away on March 13, 2021, in Grandfalls, Texas. JD was born Nov. 28, 1942 in Haskell, Texas, to Audie and Lydia Stocks.

Visitation was March 17, 2021, at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, Texas. Graveside services were held March 18, 2021, at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls. There was a gathering after the service at the Grandfalls Volunteer Fire Department in Grandfalls where he served as fire chief for over 45 years.
