Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and your Friend, Herlinda C. Bafidis, age 74, entered our God’s paradise on Dec. 4, 2020 at 6:25 p.m. She was born on June 27, 1946 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Joaquina and Juan Carrasc who preceded her in death

In April 1967, Linda married the love of her life, Alfonso Bafidis who preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1987. Her sister, Emilia Galindo, proceeded Linda in death on Dec. 28, 2005. Linda lived her last days surrounded by her children and grandchildren, whom she lived for, receiving the ultimate love and care. There is no doubt that all her departed family, friends, and her beloved husband welcomed her with open arms into Heaven’s Gates.

Linda is survived by her children, Loretta Bafidis, Alfonso Bafidis III (Missy B. Bafidis), Gabriella Bafidis, her beloved baby brother, David Carrasco (Priscilla Carrasco), her nephews, Victor Galindo, Arron Carrasco, and John Robert Carrasco, Gilbert Valles, Bobby Valles, her nieces Selvia Williams, Becky Cardona, and Bonnie Valles. Her PRIDE (she was a lioness with her grandbabies) and joy, Cory Andrew Bafidis, Alfonso Bafidis IV, Wilfredo Martinez, III, Alyssa Bella Bafidis, Luis Alfonso Bafidis, Gabriella Muriel Martinez, and Brayden Shay Bafidis will greatly miss their grandmother.

Linda knew no stranger; she loved Pecos and her Pecos family. Family and friends are invited to her viewing beginning at 2 p.m. and rosary at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at Sunset North Funeral home, 910 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232. On Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 at 10 a.m. Her last mass attendance will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 20523 Huebner Rd, San Antonio, TX 78258. She will be laid to rest after mass at Hill Country Memorial Gardens, 11700 TX-46, New Braunfels, TX 78132. A live stream will be provided by the funeral home for those that can’t attend the service in person.
