Body

Guy Paul Hall, 74, of Midland, Texas, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Feb. 11, 2022.  Guy was born on April 17, 1947, to Lieutenant Colonel Paul Morgan Hall and Mignon Rachal Hall Pearson at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla.

Guy spent most of his youth in Fort Stockton, Texas, working alongside his grandfather Guy Rachal on the family ranch. He graduated from Lee High School in 1965. Guy went on to earn a Bachelors of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in 1970.

While studying at TCU, Guy met the love of his life, Terry Mickley. They were married for 48 years until Terrys death in 2020.

Guy spent his career in the oil and gas industry with his step-father Bruce Pearson.

Guy enjoyed spending time on his grandfathers sheep and cattle ranch, and later his step-fathers cattle ranch in Balmorhea, Texas. He loved classic rock, especially Credence Clearwater Revival and the Eagles, and spending time with family. His greatest hobby was saving rescue dogs. He welcomed dogs of all kinds into his home and onto his couch.

Guy was preceded in death by his wife Terry, his mother Mignon, father Paul, stepfather Bruce, and brother Peter Hall. He is survived by his children Alan Hall and Natalie Hall Perez (Joe), sister Rachal Eriksen, brothers Blaine Hall and John Pearson, aunt Margaret Rachal Measday, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Midland on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
