Guadalupe “Lupano” Leyva, 87, of Las Mangas, Mexico, passed away peacefully in his home Oct. 18, 2021. Guadalupe was born in Las Mangas, Mexico, to Guadalupe Leyva, Sr., and Eulalia Granados on April 4, 1934.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by Bernardo Leyva, parents Guadalupe Leyva, and Eulalia Granados.

Guadalupe is survived by his wife Enedina Leyva, daughters Manuela Armendariz and husband Crisoforo, Lucila Leyva, Veronica Arzate and husband Ramiro, Maria Magdalena Gomez, and husband Joel; sons Reyes Leyva and wife Norma, Aniceto Leyva and wife Elodia, Francisco Leyva, Carlos Leyva and wife Bony; 27 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Reyes Leyva, Carlos Leyva, Francisco Leyva, Aniceto Leyva, Mayelo Leyva, and Ramiro Arzate.

Visitation and rosary were held Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Funeral services were Oct.  22, 2021, at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Stockton,  with interment following at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton.
