Gabriel Urias Granado
Gabriel Urias Granado, 60, of Fort Stockton, left this world peacefully to be with the Lord, on Monday May 6, in Fort Stockton, Texas surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13 from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Eternity Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May14 at 2 p.m. at Saint Agnes Catholic Church with Father Francis Officiating. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
Gabriel was born in Fort Stockton to Cosme Nunez Granado and Amparo Urias Granado on January 30, 1964. Gabriel graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1983. He left a lasting impact wherever he worked. His years of dedication at Nelson Lumber Yard and Town and Country are a testament to his positive presence in the community. Gabriel took pride in his role as a father and grandfather, finding joy and fulfillment in his family. He had a great sense of humor and was known for making others laugh. He had a playful spirit that brought a lot of joy to those around him. Gabriel’s ability to maintain a positive outlook with a smile on his face speaks volumes about his strength of character. Gabriel was a PASSIONATE Baltimore Ravens fan. He touched so many lives and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Gabriel is preceded in death by Maternal grandparents Jose and Guadalupe Urias, and paternal grandparents Raquel and Josephina Granado, sister Ana Granado and son Christopher Granado.
Gabriel is survived by his daughters Gabriela Clemments, Jasmin Granado, his brothers Eloy Granado, Eddie Granado, Jaime Sanchez, Cosme Granado Jr., and beloved sister Linda Graves. Parents Cosme and Amparo Granado, Granddaughter Ariana Clemments, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Graves, Brandon Marquez, Jaime Sanchez, Jaime Sanchez Jr, Samuel Granado and Daniel Granado. The Honorary Pallbearers Salvador Castro, Felipe Muniz. The Family of Gabriel wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Lydia Marquez, Rosalinda Barragan and Courtney Gavin.
