Ernesto G. Gonzales was called home by our Heavenly father at the age of 84 on Sept. 29, 2022. Ernesto was born June 20, 1938, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Guillermo and Priscillana Gonzales. Ernesto is preceded in death by his parents Guillermo and Priscillana, sister Lupe, brother Rudy, and niece Irma.

Ernesto is survived by his daughters Angie, Belinda, Prissy, sons Willie and Ernesto Jr., brothers Adan and Manuel, sisters Eva, Lucy, Estulia and Esmeralda.

Ernesto was a carpenter his whole life; the best anyone could have as a worker. He took great pride in his jobs. Many learned from his skills. He was a true Dallas Cowboy fan until the end. Ernesto had 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Omar Tijerina, Guillermo Gonzales, John Garcia, Kyle Gonzales, Erik Castillo, and Paco Ramos. The family of Ernesto would like to extend our most sincere thanks to Focused Care of Fort Stockton as well as to PCMH Home Hospice.
