Elpidio Salgado Baeza
Elpidio Salgado Baeza entered into rest on March 13, 2021. He was born on Dec. 26, 1945, to Manuel and Maria Baeza.
Elpidio worked for 23 years at the state highway department. He was an excellent heavy equipment operator, and he enjoyed fishing and his horses.
Elpidio was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria Baeza, and his brothers Eenemencio Baez and Cecilio Baeza.
Elpidio is survived by his wife, Ecarnasion Riojaz; sons Orlando Baiza and wife Sonia of Fort Stockton, Texas, Edward Garcia and wife Brenda of Fort Stockton, and Javier Olivias and wife D’Andra of Odessa, Texas; stepsons Manuel Olivas, Jr., of Midland, Texas, Ismael Olivas and wife Mclinda of Fort Stockton; stepdaughters Rose Mary Olivas of Odessa, Corina Adame of Odessa, and Cynthia Jurado of Odessa; brothers Alvaro Baeza, Julio Baeza, Candelario Baeza, Manuel Celeya, and Jose Luis Baeza; sisters Florinda Ramirez, Elena Villarreal, and Delia Villarreal; 22 grandchildren; and 53 great grandchildren.
The visitation was held March 18, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral service was held on March 19, 2021, at Northside Baptist Church. Burial followed at East Hill Cemetery.
