Eddie Urias Granado, 58, of Fort Stockton passed from this world with his family by his side on Friday, June 28.

A visitation was held at the Eternity Funeral Home on Thursday July 4, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m.

The funeral service was be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 5 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Francis officiating. Burial followed at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Eddie was born in Fort Stockton, TX to Cosme Nunez Granado and Amparo Urias Granado on March 25th, 1966. Eddie graduated from Fort Stockton High School with the Class of 1984.

Eddie started his career in the grocery business and worked his way up to a management position over his several years of service. Eddie’s strengths and skills led him to work for Viking International where he had the opportunity to travel to many countries and experience different cultures. Eddie later finished out his career as a distributor for Frito Lay until his last day.

Eddie took pride in his work ethic; however, his most important job was being a proud father and Tata.

Eddie is preceded in death by his sister Anna Maria Granado, his brother Gabriel Urias Granado, and his nephew Christopher Granado.

Eddie is survived by his parents Cosme and Amparo Granado; his children Abbey Allen (Jon), Briana Navaira (Emilio), Holly Burciaga (Gustavo), Ayden Granado, and Hayden Granado; his granddaughters Liliana Granado, Katie Allen, Isabella Allen, and Daisy Allen; his brothers Eloy Granado, Jaime Sanchez, Cosme Granado Jr.; his sister Linda Graves; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ayden Granado, Hayden Granado, Jon Allen, Emilio Navaira, Gustavo Burciaga, Maria Marquez, Danny Duran, and Richard Rojas.

Honorary Pallbearers were Eloy Granado, Jaime Sanchez, Cosme Granado Jr., Javier Morales, Phillip Morales, and Gabriel Morales.
