Concepcion Carrasco, also known as “Concha,” was born in Ocampo, Coahuila, Mexico on Dec. 9, 1934, to Luz and Bernardo Carrillo. She was the fifth of 16 children.

She later married Raymundo Carrasco on April 30, 1955, in Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico. They were married for 60 years until the passing of Raymundo in 2015. Together they had 12 children, 27 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.

Concha was known for her hospitality. No one came to her home without being served enchiladas. Concha was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1978. She was always ready to share her faith in the Bible. She knew death is not the end, but as Psalms 37:29 states, “The righteous will possess the Earth, and they will live forever on it.”

A memorial will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend in Fort Stockton, Texas.
