Albert Carrasco Urias, 87 Years Old, passed away on August 3rd, 2026, in Midland, Texas.
Rosary and Mass will be held on September 4th 2026, at 9:30 am, at St. Joseph’s of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at 403 S. Main St., Ft . Stockton, TX, with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Burial will be following the service at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Albert Carrasco Urias was born in Ft. Stockton, TX, to Alberto and Cecilia Urias on February 25th, 1939. He went to school in Ft. Stockton, TX. He worked as a welder for the majority of his life before retiring in Ft. Stockton. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a Wireman in the Field Communications 310.00 MOS.
“Uncle Beto” loved to play guitar and entertain all. He will be remembered for his wild antics, deathdefying experiences, and sometimes what was believed to be supernatural acts. Like all of us, he was a saint and a sinner. He was a wild spirit from a past generation that will be missed.
He is preceded in Death by his biological son, Albert Leonardo Ureta; his father, Alberto Urias; and his mother, Cecilia Carrasco Urias; and his siblings Juaquina Carrasco, Connie Liembrok, Lilia Urias, and Jimmy Urias.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Duran, her 3 daughters, and 9 grandchildren; his siblings Isabel Sanchez, Adan Urias, Eva Urias, and Vicente Urias.
