Fort Stockton volleyball head coaching search underway

Body

A search for a new volleyball head coach at Fort Stockton High School is currently underway as the resignation of Gabrielle Harral was announced in the district’s Feb. 27 board packet.

Harral steps away from the program after a two-year tenure as the Prowlers head coach.

The Odessa native made the decision following the birth of her son Luke Harral on Oct. 26, stating that she hopes to return to coaching in the future but will now cherish motherhood with her firstborn.

Body

Fort Stockton’s defensive errors were a critical part of their season-opening loss over a week ago.

The Panthers quickly remedied their mistakes in the field and paired their much-improved play on defense with their red-hot bats at the Comanche Classic to conclude their first week of regular season.

Fort Stockton tallied three wins and finished in a tie against El Paso Davinci in four outings at their home tournament to improve their season record to 3-1-1.
