The 11 mobile food vendors that operate within Fort Stockton city limits currently and the customers who enjoy them had much reason to rejoice following the Fort Stockton City Council meeting on Aug. 24.

Andrea Johnson was presented the Teacher of the Year for the Intermediate School campus and was awarded and a $500 check by the Fort Stockton Lions Club. Search for Excellence in Education (SEED) Grant awards were handed out to the Teachers of the Year at each campus of the Fort Stockton Independent School District last week.
