JV Prowlers claim nail-biting win over Queens

Body

A well-balanced offense and a sound defense helped the Prowlers junior varsity squad secure a win coming off their holiday break on Dec. 30.

The Prowlers hosted Del Rio and downed the Queens 44-42.

“Defensively, these athletes have it figured out. We, as a team, need to figure out how to be offensive players. We have about a week before our first district game, so we will have it figured out come game time,” coach Sera Ramirez said.
