The Panthers junior varsity squad concluded their perfect 10-0 season with a 54-6 victory over Fabens on Thursday in Fort Stockton.

Fort Stockton finished their 2022 campaign by outscoring their opponents 236-46. The Panthers had three shutouts during the season.

Bunyan Richard Johnson, 91, of Fort Stockton passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022. Born Dec. 16, 1930, in Old Glory, Texas to Bunyan Reese and Mary Lee (Towles) Johnson.

His early education began in Old Glory Texas, where he was a member of the Pirates basketball team playing guard.  He graduated Valedictorian from Old Glory High School at the age of 16 in 1947.
