JUDD’s Ranch Office to Open for Public

The Judd Foundation has announced it will open Donald Judd’s Ranch Office to the public on Saturday, April 25, marking the latest addition to the artist’s permanently installed spaces in the high desert of West Texas.

The opening will be celebrated with a day of free programming, including a public talk, open hours, and a tailgate celebration. All events associated with the opening are free and open to the public.

Located in downtown Marfa, the Ranch Office features 10 works of art permanently installed by Judd, consisting of eight wall reliefs and two floor boxes. Consistent with Judd’s philosophy of integrating art and architecture within his living and working environments, the artwork is displayed alongside maps and ranching equipment.
