Jose Madrid Carrasco, age 74 of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on July 3, 1951, to Maria and Nicomedez Carrasco. He married Biviana Serrano in October of 1972 and together they built a life rooted in love, family and faith.

Jose was an exemplary father, a true cowboy at heart and a hard-working man of the land. He dedicated his life to providing for his family and teaching, by example, the values of hard work, respect and integrity. Whether on the farm, caring for animals, or sharing stories from his young cowboy days, Jose lived a life rooted in strength, simplicity, and love.

He was known for his strong work ethic, his quiet wisdom, and his deep love for his children and family. To those who knew him, Jose was not only a father, but a guide, protector, and a role model.

Jose’s legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply. He will be remembered for his resilience, his humble spirit, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his son Jose Luis Carrasco, Norma (Saul) Olivas, Olga (Hugo) Sandoval, Rosa (Edward) Rodriguez, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Biviana Carrasco, mother Maria Carrasco, father Nicomedez Carrasco, sister Esperanza Carrasco, daughter Marisela Carrasco and granddaughter Gabriella Navarrete.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, from 12pm to 8pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at Eternity Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at 10am with Pastor Mario Santos officiating at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
