Hilda Herrera was born in El Paso to Esther and Felipe Herrera on May 17, 1973.

Hilda attended and Graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1992. She worked as a sue chef for many years as cooking was her passion. Hilda’s favorite things to do in her spare time were cooking her favorite steaks, watching movies, collecting old school items such as game cubes, Gameboys and even action figures. She loved to take trips with her little family, Cindy Galindo and Xavier Herrera. But one thing she loved to do most was spending time with her Nieces, Jessica, Maya and Alyna. She loved her cousins’ kids as if they were her own, Hilda was one of a kind, she always watched after everyone and defended everyone. Her Love language was gift giving anytime she saw something that she knew you’d like she would automatically buy it and surprise you with it.

Hilda is preceded in death by her grand-mother Estefana Arreola, aunt Velia Salguero and uncle Jose Herrera.

Hilda is survived by her brother Phillip Herrera, sisters Irene Herrera and Petra Carrasco. Nieces Jessica Herrera, Maya Carrasco and Alyna Carrasco. Her son Xavier Herrera, and parents Esther and Felipe Herrera.
