Jeremiah Ramirez and CT Dominguez joined forces for the first time this season on the tennis court during Fort Stockton’s regular season finale on March 24 in Odessa at the Friday Night Lights Invitational.

Their result suggested anything but a newly formed pairing.

The duo earned bronze medals in the boy’s doubles division at an event that featured three of the four 6A teams from the Odessa/Midland area.

“Their competitive edge and excellent communication skills during practice paid off,” Fort Stockton head coach Victor Garcia said. “That was our toughest tournament of the season. Each division had 16 contestants. We competed well and put forth a tremendous effort.”

Garcia added that multiple Fort Stockton competitors placed within the top 10 at the event.
